LAST UPDATED — AUGUST 10, 2026
These Terms of Use govern how you may access and use the content on wowwithlighting.com. They sit alongside our Terms and Conditions, which govern the wider agreement between you and this website.
1. WHAT YOU MAY DO
- Read, browse, and search the site for your own personal, non-commercial use.
- Print or save a copy of a guide for your own reference, including taking it with you to a hardware store or a job.
- Share a link to any page on this site, anywhere, freely. Links are always welcome.
- Quote a short extract for the purposes of commentary, criticism, review, or news reporting, provided you attribute it to Wow With Lighting and include a working link to the original page.
2. PROHIBITED USES
YOU MAY NOT REPRODUCE OUR CONTENT WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION. That includes republishing a guide in whole or in substantial part, spinning or rewriting it, translating it, or feeding it through a tool that produces a derivative version.
Specifically, you must not:
- Reproduce content without permission. Republishing our guides, comparisons, specification summaries, or copy on another website, in print, in a newsletter, in a video script, or on social media as your own work is prohibited.
- Use our content commercially. You may not sell, license, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise our content, or incorporate it into a paid product, course, ebook, or client deliverable, without written permission.
- Scrape or access the site by automated means. Crawlers, scrapers, bots, harvesters, headless browsers, and any automated process used to extract content in bulk, mirror the site, or train a commercial model are prohibited without our written permission. This includes circumventing rate limits or robots directives.
- Remove or alter attribution. You may not strip copyright notices, bylines, affiliate disclosures, or safety warnings from any content you are permitted to use. Removing a safety warning from installation content is a particularly serious breach.
- Frame, hotlink, or mirror. You may not frame our pages within your own site, hotlink our images or assets to your servers, or create a mirror of this website.
- Interfere with the site. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access, probe for vulnerabilities, introduce malware, overload the servers, or interfere with the normal operation of the website for other users.
- Misrepresent an association. You may not imply that Wow With Lighting endorses, sponsors, certifies, or is affiliated with you, your business, or your products.
- Use the site unlawfully. You may not use this website for any purpose that is unlawful or that violates these Terms of Use.
3. OWNERSHIP AND TRADEMARKS
All content on this website, including written guides, comparisons, original graphics, layout, structure, design system, and code, is the property of Wow With Lighting or is used under licence, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
Third-party brand names, product names, logos, and trademarks referenced on this site remain the property of their respective owners. They are used for identification, comparison, and editorial purposes only, and their use does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by those owners.
4. REQUESTING PERMISSION
We will often say yes. If you want to reproduce, translate, syndicate, or otherwise reuse our content, email legal@wowwithlighting.com with the specific pages involved, where and how you intend to use them, and whether the use is commercial. Permission, where granted, is given in writing and is limited to the specific use described.
5. DMCA AND COPYRIGHT COMPLAINTS
We respect intellectual property rights and expect the same in return.
